After Daphne Henderson finally graduated from Hogwarts following seven long and difficult years of study, she took her fairly impressive transcript and prepared to follow in her father's footsteps by applying for a job at the Ministry of Magic. Instead, her dad kicked her all the way back to the small town in America where her stepmother lived, to continue her Muggle education.

Well, fine. She'd study.

She gritted her teeth and picked up her textbooks again, only to find that she couldn't understand a single word. Worse, after an intense stretch of Muggle studies, the nightmares that had plagued her for so long returned.

*Wizards don't think like ordinary people, unless the people they run into aren't ordinary either.

*The HP story doesn't follow the main plot, mostly because the Hawkins story takes place at a time when there's no main plot to follow.

*For the sake of the story, I'll be using a major time-turning spell (meaning I'll change when certain things happen).

*I haven't decided on a pairing yet. The early part is mainly a 1vN stock-picking setup (that's what happens when a woman has no outline...).
