Adaline's Farm

In the year 213 of the New Calendar, Duke Harper passed away. The old man had been a respectable gentleman in life, with five legitimate children and three illegitimate ones. After his death, the heirs fought like mad over the inheritance.

In the end, the Duke of Harper's youngest daughter, Adaline, was quickly eliminated from the competition because she simply wasn't cut out for it. Fortunately, the old man had so many titles that her brothers and sisters casually handed her a barony somewhere and sent her off to farm on the frontier.

On the way to the frontier, the newly minted baroness suddenly awakened memories of her previous life and discovered that she was a bona fide transmigrator. This was wonderful! She immediately perked up and resolved to become the Yuan Longping of another world.

But now there was a problem. She hadn't done any work in her previous life, and she didn't do any work in this one either. She knew nothing about Earth's agricultural technology, let alone the crops grown in her country or its agricultural policies. What was she supposed to do?

Please note before reading:

The setting is inspired by medieval Europe, but it includes magic, many other races, and polytheism, so don't worry too much about whether things are historically accurate.

The author only wants to write a pure farming story. There is absolutely no chance that the heroine will suddenly go off to conquer the world halfway through farming. She starts out as a baroness and remains one until she dies, and the size of her territory never changes. The whole story is about Clarkson's Farm in another world, mainly following the daily management of the heroine, a novice estate owner, and showcasing the customs and culture of another world.

There is a male lead, a knight in the heroine's territory named Amara. The romance won't be a minor part of the story. I love writing love stories more than anything, so there is absolutely no chance the male lead will be a background character.

I plan to write a little over twenty chapters and finish in fewer than thirty, ending right around the heroine's first anniversary of ruling her territory. Updates will come whenever they come.

Theme: A farming story should keep farming.
