Divine Miracle

"156 days until the miracle arrives."

On October 6, Chu Xi is still haunted by nightmares.

"155 days until the miracle arrives."

On October 7, the miracle Chu Xi had prayed for with all her heart is utterly destroyed.

She takes the thousand yuan returned to her after being scammed and leaves the police station. The scorching sun makes her dizzy, and then someone helps her back to her feet beneath that same blazing sun.

It's the woman who reported the scam, the woman who destroyed her miracle.

"I have no god anymore." For once, Chu Xi's usually vacant eyes are clear. She stares straight at the other woman. "You have to find me one."

The other woman laughs and leaves, apparently thinking she's crazy. That's what Chu Xi thinks.

"152 days until the miracle arrives."

On October 10, they meet again.

Chu Xi calmly accepts what seems to be a chance encounter, even though the woman is following her. She's not afraid. If the other woman wants to hurt her, she'll gladly accept it. But if she doesn't, she should make it up to her by finding her a new god.

It can be real or fake, ancient or newly created.

Chu Xi just needs a god, one who sounds powerful enough to pretend to listen to her, or to pretend to promise to grant her wish.

"0 days until the miracle arrives."

That day, Chu Xi truly sees a miracle.

One-on-one romance, happy ending

Supernatural elements

Chu Xi's reactions and actions may be rather slow; she's often a little dazed.

The logic may be weak.
