[Short story, twins.]
Across all of Cangwu's nine provinces, everyone knows the Eastern Lord, Qi Rangting.
The Eastern Lord is enigmatic and spends his days in the Divine Hall. Few have ever seen his true face, and descriptions of him vary widely.
The only thing everyone agrees on is the crisscrossing scars on his wrists.
Because the Eastern Lord Qi Rangting's innate art uses blood as its contract.
Anyone who comes into contact with his blood can only become his puppet, surrendering their spirit and cultivation to be controlled by him and die for him.
Qi Zhuo has lost count of how many times he's heard the cultivators around him marvel at the Eastern Lord's methods.
With a mixture of fear and curiosity, they say to him, "I wonder what became of all those people he controlled..."
Qi Zhuo says nothing, because he can feel a cold, bitter sensation slowly seeping through every inch of his meridians. As if someone were gently wrapping their arms around him from the void.
A familiar, soft, sickly voice sounds beside his ear, edged with an icy laugh. "Why aren't you answering them?"
"You're the one who knows best, aren't you, little brother?"
*
More than anything in this world, he hates Qi Rangting's blood art.
He hates that they share the same blood. He hates that Qi Rangting has been able to control him since birth.
Mad, dark god gong × haughty, proud younger brother shou
P.S.:
Both are each other's one and only, happy ending. The couple stays together, with no role reversal.
Neither the gong nor the shou is normal. It may get a little melodramatic, but they always choose each other without hesitation.
They're not actually related by blood. I'll explain it later...
