Delicate, spoiled little troublemaker x possessive, fatherly type
Huo Chen had no father or mother, and scraped by in the mire like a stray dog.
He was barely old enough to take care of himself, yet on a blizzardy day, he brought home a dainty little boy, as lovely as a doll.
He raised him for eighteen years.
Winters in the village brought bone-cutting winds like knives.
The earthen house was drafty on all sides. Huo Chen wrapped his only thick quilt around his younger brother, Huo Yi, held him all night, and warmed his icy feet.
"Stay close to your big brother, sweetheart. I'm warm."
Huo Chen hauled cement, worked down in the mines, and carried bricks to repair roads. He worked three jobs a day until he collapsed sick in the snow.
The money he earned went toward nourishing supplements, pure cotton fabric, and the pretty schoolbags and building blocks other people's children had.
The villagers gossiped that Huo Chen had gone crazy, raising some burden from who-knows-where like royalty.
Only Huo Chen knew how, that day, Huo Yi had used his small, frail shoulders to drag him home inch by inch after he collapsed.
The endless winding trail through the snow was like a vine leading toward survival, binding the two lonely souls together.

Later, Huo Chen risked his life to rise to the top and slowly made a name for himself.
Everyone thought President Huo was cold-blooded and ruthless, until someone heard crashing and smashing sounds coming from the top-floor office.
Huo Yi smashed priceless antiques to pieces. "Who told you to cancel my plane ticket? Huo Chen, you bastard!"
Huo Chen wasn't angry. He took off his tie and went over to bandage the cut on Huo Yi's hand. "You need to talk to me about going abroad. Did I say you could?"
Huo Yi hated how controlling he was. He'd been strict with him ever since he was little.
He had to report where he was going, report when he went out with friends, and report whenever he got close to a classmate.
Even a real father wouldn't be this controlling.
They weren't getting anywhere, so Huo Yi turned and slammed the door on his way out.
But that night, he was dragged home from a bar. Riding on the alcohol, he was shaking, his eyes red, as he raised the hand still wearing his tie to swing at the man's stern face.
"I'm going, and I'm old enough to decide for myself! What gives you the right to restrict my freedom? I hate you!"
Huo Chen's voice was hoarse. "Hate me."
"But do you still remember who used to cling to my leg when you were little, crying and shouting that you loved your big brother most?"
Once he'd brought him home, of course he'd look after him for the rest of his life.
A rags-to-riches story about raising a child, two little miseries relying on each other to survive.
The blurb may still be tweaked.
