With little time left to live, Ci Ye received a mysterious invitation to a game. It promised a romantic story unlike any other and said she'd regret missing it. She was tempted.
Don't get the wrong idea. It's not that she thought the game could save her. She simply hoped to experience more of life's good and bad, its extraordinary moments and ordinary ones, before she left.
She hoped her few remaining years could blaze as brilliantly as fireworks, even if they vanished in an instant. And when she left the world, she wanted her departure to be just as dazzling and glorious.
So getting trapped in a game is absolutely not an acceptable way to die!
