Klinting x Folgard
A delicate male insect with severe separation anxiety x a fake gentleman who is really a scheming, cold-blooded female insect
•Blurb•
After a male insect has been intimate with a female insect, he becomes especially drawn to scents similar to theirs after their death. So when Klinting found him, Folgard was so furious that the gentlemanly mask he wore in public shattered.
And he uttered a piece of wisdom: "Klinting, am I some kind of replacement?"
Klinting is a male insect with severe separation anxiety.
He isn't good with words. His male and female parents found him a whole crowd of compatible female insects to choose from.
But no one could have guessed why he ultimately chose the heir to the Parvis family.
His female spouse, Pejiala, was a politician, but disappeared during a political struggle. All the insects said he was dead, and the Mitchell family decided to take Klinting back, but he refused.
It turned out that Klinting's separation anxiety had flared up. He couldn't bear to leave his spouse's scent, and spent an entire week holding a bundle of clothes whose scent was gradually fading.
One morning, an insect lifted Klinting from the sofa. A scent similar to his spouse's filled his nostrils. Delighted, he opened his eyes, rubbed his head against the other's chest, and called sweetly:
"My spouse, you're back! I knew..."
But the person before him wasn't the one in his heart.
Many days later, the male insect accidentally ran into his supposedly dead ex-husband.
Not only was his ex-husband alive, he had also changed completely and wouldn't stop clinging to him.
After finally sending him home, he unexpectedly ran into his ex's younger brother.
Oh, right. He's also Klinting's lover now.
Folgard lowered his proud head and begged humbly, "My lord, please keep treating me as your replacement. I promise I'll be the perfect one."
A few notes:
1. The bottom is all bark and no bite at first, then turns into a sweet puppy later (in a good way).
2. Not a story about equality, just a simple, everyday sweet romance.
3. The ex may show up several times, but he's just there to make the couple's relationship even sweeter.
