Childhood Friends
Many of Su Ning's first experiences happened with Xia Yunhui.
Like watching a 3D movie for the first time.
Learning to ride a bicycle for the first time.
Seeing the sea for the first time.
To everyone else, Xia Yunhui was an untouchable beauty, a cool-headed top student who always buttoned his shirt to the collar and seemed to have no room in his heart for anything but the pursuit of knowledge.
Su Ning only agreed with half of that.
For instance, they were both passionate about learning. After all, besides watching movies and seeing the sea, they also studied the stars together and explored what kissing felt like...
But the Xia Yunhui she knew wasn't always quite so buttoned-up. For example, when they studied human anatomy together, the diagrams were too abstract.
Su Ning blinked. "Is this part really necessary too?"
Xia Yunhui walked into the bedroom, loosened his collar, and locked the door. "Of course. It's an important part of exploring the world."
