Eclipse of the Gods: Record of the Madness of All Religions

After the "Sun of God" in 2026, the alien god "Shadow of Azathoth" came in the guise of human religion. "False gods" such as the Taoist Three Corpse Gods (Shadow of War), the Buddhist Blood Group Buddha (Shadow of Greed), and the Christian Son of Christ (Shadow of Fear), feed on extreme emotions and drag the earth into the "Era of the Eclipse." The world has become a purgatory of madness: the Taoist sect has become a deformed branch contaminated by three corpses, and the monks have been alienated into an aggregation of sarcoma and tentacles; the Buddhist caste system has become a slaughterhouse of desire, and untouchables are randomly discarded as nourishment; the Christian saint nourishes foreign gods with child sacrifices, and angels are actually multi-eyed moths and worms. The five permanent members of the United Nations formed the "Guardians of the Holy Relics" to fight, but they could not escape the cognitive contamination of external gods; the motley "Alexander Salvation Mission" struggled in the ruins, and the lunatic faction and the sane faction continued to fight within themselves. The two female protagonists Li Xue and Tian Yu are anomalies in troubled times: the crazy artist Li Xue has a Tang Dynasty glass eye inlaid in her left eye, and paints with menstrual blood mixed with the remains of gods.
