The Seventeenth Blind Date [Rekindled Romance]

A sweet, insecure girl vs. a refined scoundrel with an overwhelming possessive streak

At twenty-five, Wen Yuwu met the person she least wanted to see during her seventeenth blind date, forced upon her by her family.

The man who had killed her crush before it could even begin, making it seem worthless.

Three years ago, he went abroad to study. The last thing he said to her at the airport was that she should wait for him.

Wen Yuwu believed him, but a year later, she heard that he had gotten a girlfriend in a foreign country.

She couldn't believe he would do such a thing, but then, during a call she'd gone out of her way to make, she heard a man and woman panting together.

Wen Yuwu knew Zhou Yanci's voice very well. She could tell it was him.

Having listened to them make love, Wen Yuwu couldn't bear the humiliation. That very night, she blocked Zhou Yanci on every platform.

"Junior Wen, I think you owe me an explanation about what happened two years ago, don't you?" The man changed the way he addressed her.

At the blind-date table, watching the man act as if he were completely in the right, Wen Yuwu found the whole thing absurd. She stood up and did the most outrageous thing she'd ever done in her life: she threw a glass of water in his face and stormed out.

Later, one night, Wen Yuwu leaned over Zhou Yanci's desk and accidentally opened an audio file.

The panting from the computer mingled with the sounds around her.

Before Wen Yuwu could react and close it, the man behind her suddenly stopped what he was doing. Then an amused voice sounded in her ear: "Acha, doesn't that sound familiar?"
