Electric Guitarist × Oil Painting Art Student
This is a story about two teenagers with very different personalities, who went from not liking each other to relying on each other in three years of high school.
In the summer of their freshman year of high school, Lu Xunye, an enthusiastic and outgoing music student, and Su Yan, an indifferent and introverted art student, were assigned to the same dormitory. When they first met, they were diametrically opposite - one was noisy and talkative, the other was taciturn. The sweat of military training, the emergency gathering in the middle of the night, and the unexpected cooperation at the welcome party gradually made them familiar.
In campus activities and daily interactions, they saw different sides of each other: Lu Xunye discovered that behind Su Yan's coldness was a tenderness that was not good at expressing; Su Yan realized that there was sincerity and persistence hidden in Lu Xunye's noisiness. They walked side by side during the autumn outing in Maple Leaf Valley, supported each other on rainy nights, and guarded each other all night when they were sick.
In their sophomore year of high school, academic pressure gradually increased, and the gap between dreams and reality made them confused. Lu Xunye encountered a bottleneck in music creation, while Su Yan was in trouble with his painting style. They became each other's pillars of support, running back and forth between the studio and the rehearsal room, using their own methods to encourage each other to stick to their original aspirations.
Senior year of high school is a long-distance race. During training camps, mock exams, school exams, and college entrance exams, they supported each other under pressure and confirmed their feelings for each other through quarrels and reconciliations. During the graduation season, they both received admission notices from the Central Academy of Fine Arts - one majoring in painting and the other majoring in stage art.
The midsummer wind blew through the sycamore leaves again. They stood in the familiar campus and remembered their first meeting three years ago. It turns out that those years of joy and awkwardness, closeness and temptation, all unknowingly tied the youth of the two teenagers together.
This is a story about growth, dreams and bonds. In a world of intertwined light and shadow, they learned to understand, tolerate and protect, and also found their own future and love.
