How to Raise a Little Wolf

When the order suspending him arrived, Yu Jin was making medicine in the laboratory.

The Security Bureau worked quickly. In just one afternoon, he was convicted and sentenced to exile on remote Planet Zero.

The person assigned to accompany and supervise him was Ying Huaizhi, a major general and commander of the Central Legion. He was also a friend of the sentinel Yu Jin was rumored to have killed.

Yu Jin was a D-rank guide with no connections. On Planet Zero, he would have no choice but to endure abuse. So he set his sights on Ying Huaizhi and decided to befriend him.

Ying Huaizhi's spirit form was a wolf.

Wolves were loyal animals, and spirit forms embodied the personalities of sentinels and guides.

But Yu Jin failed to keep their friendship within proper bounds.

When Ying Huaizhi first arrived, he looked at Yu Jin with nothing but contempt.

Later, Yu Jin stroked the little wolf's fur and looked at Ying Huaizhi with a smile. "Whose puppy are you?"

Ying Huaizhi crouched in front of him, lowered his head to kiss his arm, and placed Yu Jin's hand on top of his own head. "Yours."

When Ying Huaizhi was first approached by Yu Jin, he found him annoying. His friend had probably been pestered just like this, only to be mercilessly abandoned later.

Every day, Ying Huaizhi watched Yu Jin rack his brains to seduce him, then cover it up with, "Aren't we friends?" He thought Yu Jin was shameless and swore he wouldn't fall for it.

He couldn't forget what had happened to his friend.

But he still found himself falling for Yu Jin, at least a little.

Later, he learned that Yu Jin had only been using him.

P.S.:

1. My take on the Guide-Sentinel genre, with lots of original worldbuilding. Guide gong, Sentinel shou.

2. Not recommended for readers who are very particular about whose side they root for.

3. [Gong's POV]. Oh, babies, please don't get that wrong.

4. Beautiful and powerful, but the gong is powerful too. His beauty is just one of his many tiny virtues.

5. The gong is not a good person.

6. The couple love each other dearly. They never break up and stay together throughout.

Theme: Love gives us flesh and blood.
