[The editor flagged a supporting character's name, so I'm revising it. If you're interested, save this and come back at the end of June.]
Lu An transmigrated into a background bug mother in a Mary Sue comic.
Her role was to provide buffs like [delicate and soft], [walking pheromones], and [flowing honey and milk], making it convenient for the heroine to get busy with the powerful male leads she'd created...
The good news: Lu An has come back from the dead.
The bad news: The heroine already claimed her powers, and should have gotten her happy ending with the insectoid male leads long ago!
But what is this world that's been turned upside down?
And what's going on with the insect invasion?
Lu An tentatively speaks into the neural link in her mind. "Um... Is anyone there?"
The next second, a few indistinct figures appear in her mind.
The tall figures stand or sit, their insect wings folded away, their dense, shadowy gazes fixed on her.
Lu An: ?

But Lu An doesn't know that once the comic's heroine gained power, she was judged to be a fake.
The inherently short-tempered insectoids have been waiting for their true mother all along. Over the long years, the healthy, hopeful, well-adjusted male leads gradually turned into twisted monsters.
At first, they used flowers and jewels, hoping for the insect mother's return.
Later, they used blood and screams, wantonly defiling the insect mother who had left them. They erased every trace of her existence and rewrote history as they pleased.
Yet they longed for the gentle but stern punishment she used to give them.
Why... won't she even scold them?
Then one day, a voice suddenly rings out in the insect mother's private mental realm. The petite figure seems to be veiled, yet she is like the most exquisite jewel in the universe, someone they want to keep in a treasure box.
The deities, all of them either mad or insane, fall into an eerie silence, as if afraid of disturbing something.
The voice by their ears is cautious, with a slight tremble.
"Um... Is anyone there?"
-What does the insect mother in the comic need to do?
"Kiss them, hug them, lift them up high. Maybe pat their heads, too."
-What about now?
"Don't cry. It'll only make them more excited."
"Don't think you can escape with your wing cases. Tell them you want to stay by their side..."
Everyone's gone dark. If they haven't, they're just pretending.
Do that hate! Noncon! Kink-fest!
