(To be heavily revised. Do not read yet.)
In the Chang Le era of the Da Sheng Dynasty, Princess Ying is married.
After the wedding, the top-scorer husband treats Nangong Ying coldly in private. She refuses to be discouraged and throws all kinds of tantrums, rolling around and begging for hugs. Whenever her husband flies into a rage, she seems to read his mind, stopping just before he loses his temper.
Who understands the hardships of a working stiff? She is actually the number-one wicked supporting female character in this book. In the ending, the top-scorer husband, the male lead, will skin her alive and tear out her tendons. He will climb out of the abyss by stepping on heads, with a ruthlessly fierce persona, yet love the female lead enough to give his life for her. But the price of changing her ending is that she must complete every mission in the original main plot that sabotages the relationship between the male and female leads.
So she's forced into it: fawn over and seduce the male lead; keep digging pits to harm the sweet, innocent female lead; earn [Wicked Woman Points]; and keep the [Male Lead's Negative Mood] under control, so he doesn't chop her down before the story ends!
The overworked wage slave pulls all-nighters, painstakingly modifying all kinds of fated side plots. Halfway through the story, just as she's barely meeting her KPI at a crucial moment, the System, speaking on behalf of the client, suddenly announces that the locked full text has been unlocked. Wait, what? No wonder she'd latched onto so many sweet, innocent girls only to pick the wrong one every time. The plot had been changed too much, and she'd already been turned into the book's mysterious female lead.
So now, uh, she has to switch roles and keep acting.
The female lead's script is no easy ride: all the supporting female characters and major villains who used to play along with her in the early plot turn against her. As soon as she accepts the male lead's love, she'll suffer inhuman torment at every turn until she's blind and deaf, her beauty destroyed, barely clinging to life and paralyzed in bed...
But still,
The male lead's love will last a lifetime, faithful until death.
The male lead's love will make the villains grovel and the supporting females weep.
After learning about the second half of the story, Nangong Ying says, "...Thanks a lot."
Money is hard to earn, and life is hard to stomach!
"Go away, male lead! Don't come near me!"
