A Lifetime in Bloom

"What would you do if I died one day?"

"I wouldn't let you die."

"Dummy, everyone's life has to come to an end someday."

"Then I'll cut open the path to the underworld and drag you back. I won't let you die, no matter what."

"...Do you want me to turn into an old hag?"

"You already are one."

The world fell silent for one second.

"- Inuyasha, sit!"

"- Thump!"

Basically, this is a story I came up with on a whim, then couldn't resist writing because my fingers were itching. A little short story to share with everyone who loves Kagome and Inuyasha.
