Hunter X Hunter: Let's Roll the Dice

I'm Inas, from Meteor City.

There, taking what you want is an instinct for survival, and trust is the most extravagant lie of all.

My Nen Ability lets me roll dice to grant myself or others a lucky buff called "Wish Enhancement." The higher the roll, the closer the wish comes to reality. Thanks to this ability, I earned my license from the Hunter Association and became a ruin hunter.

And I had long since put everything about Meteor City behind me, including that quiet, gloomy boy who was so brilliant it sent a chill down your spine: Chrollo.

Until one day, I woke up with no memories and a man beside me who claimed to be my "boyfriend."

He said his name was Chrollo Lucilfer.

He said we were in love.

He said we'd lived together for a long time.

He said... plenty of things I had no way to verify.

But deep down, my instincts told me he was lying.

The look in his eyes was far too complicated, as if he were waiting for something, or hunting me.

I don't know what I've forgotten, but I do know this:

I have to roll the dice again.
