Rain (One Piece Fanfic)

Completed: 2017.03.26 Fire and rain have never mingled. One waxes as the other wanes. Fire is scorching, rain is silent. Fire is scarlet, rain is pale blue. Yet I can't help wondering: when fire meets rain, will the rain quietly still the fire, or will the fire turn the rain to steam? You curl your lips into a smile. Your black eyes shine like stars, yet they cannot hide your reckless nature and your longing for freedom. Though there are three thousand waters, I drink from only one gourd. I think I should thank God, because I came into this world and met you. For that untamed soul. The heroine is a girl named Rain. This story can also be seen as the tale of an ordinary (?) girl striving to carve out a place for herself on the ocean. Transmigration, BG. Volume One: Ace as the main storyline (a quiet farming-life tale?) -> A sailing story through the Grand Line and the New World Volume Two: Taking part in the main plot Selected Rain quotes: "A dream? I want to become strong, strong enough to stand beside him. Only then will I no longer be a burden in his world." "Ace, I know eating a Devil Fruit can greatly increase your combat power in a short time. But if I do that, who will pull you out of the sea the next time you fall in?" "Ace, if you die, I won't die with you. But I'll make the world that hoped for your death pay for it. I'll make the Marines witness their 'justice' being destroyed." A note from the author: This story exists because of Ace. I feel for him, and I hope to give him someone worthy of him.
