No Choice, Part Two
There won’t be a side story about Nangong Yi and Su Zigui, at least not anytime soon. A lot of people have said the first story was too uneventful... I’ve been reflecting on that. But that story, The Match Was Beyond Me, is about the gentle affection between children, and that’s all it was ever meant to be. Forcing in a bunch of dramatic twists would make me really uncomfortable. Of course, I planned it as a short story under 40,000 words, and maybe I wasn’t skilled enough to explain everything clearly. That’s my fault too...
If you want to read about other things involving Nangong and Xiao Su, well, a little of that will appear here too. But they won’t be the main characters. This is also meant to be a short story finished within a month. "Sweats" It isn’t finished yet. I’ll post a chapter as a trial run first... Just to be clear, this isn’t as innocent as the first story; it has a little explicit content.
So this was his wife?
A face no bigger than his palm, a pert nose, and lovely red lips that turned up ever so slightly... More importantly, he looked at Youlan, seated at the head of the table.
She had the exact same eyes and voice.
Is this what you wanted? he silently asked the woman with the radiant smile. He lowered his gaze to the other woman, the one who was about to become his wife.
A faint smile touched his lips, but his voice was cruelly cold. “After you marry me, you’ll get nothing except the title of my wife... Do you still want to marry me?”
The poor woman trembled slightly, then gave a small nod. “This is the condition my aunt proposed to repay her debt. I may be poor, but I know I can’t accept someone else’s generosity for nothing.”
Her aunt, was it? He sneered and leaned down toward her ear.
“Why do you think your aunt chose you to marry me?” His warm breath brushed her earlobe, turning it red and paling her face. “Because your eyes are exactly like hers...”
“You didn’t know? I’m your aunt’s... lover!”
It has been suspended for a year, when will it continue?
I walked slowly at the bottom of the pit Why don't any mice fall down for me to eat? Sighing, crawling crawling. . .
The writing is indeed good, but the speed is too slow.
Can't wait to read below!
After grabbing the sofa, watch slowly. . . Thick. . .
Poor child... Do you want to torture her? I'm sorry... Ugh... I can't bear to let her go...
Support poor little Pinglian!
