Jun Li is a very vain person. (This is my next novel.)
She has exceptional talent and always strives to be first at everything, until one day a new junior sister steals the spotlight.
The junior sister is talented and hardworking, surpassing her at every turn and showing signs of overtaking her.
Jun Li refuses to accept it. She can't beat her in talent or hard work, so she comes up with a crooked plan: an unorthodox cultivation method.
She tricks a pure-hearted junior brother with exceptional talent, seducing him and stealing his heart and body, finally getting ahead of the junior sister.
On the very day she completes her unorthodox cultivation, she dreams that the world is a novel, and the junior sister is the heroine, destined to attain a higher level of cultivation than she does.
The hero is her respected and beloved master.
This forbidden master-disciple romance is destined to have a wicked supporting woman get in the way of their love.
Jun Li is that wicked supporting woman. In the book, she is utterly vile, using every crooked, unorthodox cultivation method she can find, and even setting her sights on the hero.
In the end, she is expelled from the sect and dies after falling into demonic cultivation.
And the junior brother whose heart and body she stole becomes the story's greatest villain.
He opposes the hero and heroine at every turn and never once loses.
During the immortal-demon war, the junior brother sides with the demons and wins battle after battle. In the end, the heroine simply reveals the truth: Jun Li had deceived him and taken his heart and body.
The junior brother, who thought he was in a relationship with his senior sister, refuses to believe it. He slits her throat and goes to settle the score.
And so, the demons lose the immortal-demon war.
Jun Li: ...
What a ridiculous plot.
She opens her eyes and sees the junior brother curled up in her arms, looking at her with big, watery eyes. He nuzzles her like a puppy and asks,
"Senior Sister... are we together now?"
Jun Li ruffles his hair and answers solemnly, "Go to sleep."
The junior brother obediently closes his eyes and falls asleep with his head on her arm.
Jun Li studies him carefully. She can hardly believe he's the great villain from her dream.
She sighs to herself. If she wants to be a decent person, she has to take responsibility.
And so she goes from diligent cultivation to raising and soothing a child, all while trying to keep her secret from getting out.
The longer she raises him, the stranger things get. How did the original story's great villain turn into such a clingy little thing, unable to leave her side for even a moment?
Until one day, she sees the line in Fu Zhushui's application to join the sect:
[Why do you want to join the Wenxian Sect?]
His answer:
[I'm not like the others. I'm not here to seek immortality or the Dao, help the common people, or live as long as the heavens. I just want to be Senior Sister Jun Li's dog.]
[Why choose the Heartless Path?]
His answer:
[I heard that the Heartless Path automatically gives you a wife. I only want Senior Sister Jun Li.]
Jun Li looks up at Fu Zhushui, whose tail is practically wagging in the air as he softly calls, "Senior Sister."
So where did the villain from the original story go?
The cultivation world's number-one senior sister, Jun Li X her clingy, green-tea junior brother, Fu Zhushui

A very pure love story between these two!
1. At its heart, this is a pampered-husband story. He can't live without the heroine.
2. Important: A pampered husband is the same as a pampered wife, a tagalong to the heroine. He's never going to be stronger than her, so don't read if you can't accept that.
3. The male lead is only like this with the heroine! Younger man and older woman, with an age gap. The male lead is not a transmigrator.
4. The male lead isn't right in the head, either!
5. The heroine isn't a good person. She's the wicked supporting woman from an old-school romance novel, and she won't be redeemed.
6. The original heroine isn't vilified. It's just that, in the heroine's eyes, no one is a good person.
