Drifting Catkins

Prologue:

Everyone knows that happy people are joyful. But joyful people are not necessarily happy.

Does happiness come from joy? Not necessarily.

Meeting someone and gaining a friend, is that happiness?

Maybe. Still, meeting him made me feel happy. But happiness does not always lead to contentment.

True happiness comes from trust.

Some say that forgetting is a human instinct.

Of course, time can make memories fade, but not everything.

Believe this: time cannot necessarily wash everything away.

Forgetting is natural. It can help you forget the things you want to forget.

At the same time, it can also make you forget the things you don't want to forget.

You once said that when you asked someone to do something, it meant you trusted them.

But why, sometimes, do you leave me feeling so lost? The world is always so unclear.

Whether you forgot or I remembered wrong, I still believe in myself.

I believe you won't forget... won't forget the promise we once made...

Since you've come in, welcome.

Complete. I've updated with an extra chapter.
