Childhood Sweethearts, with a Hint of Sugar

It wasn't until I went abroad to study that I realized I liked my childhood friend, Lin Yichen. But he didn't like me.

Later, after I returned home, I met another Lin Yichen, and we were about to get married.

Then something happened, and I learned that I'd mistaken the first man for someone else. Luckily, I'd managed to "pull back from the brink" in time.

That day, I was about to say goodbye to him when I heard him through the door of a private room: "Of course I won't say yes to her. She has a childhood friend she's been close to since they were kids. Who would like someone whose heart belongs to another?"

Later, back home, I happened to hear him through the door of another private room: "There, don't be mad. I pursued her because her dad is the head coach. I don't like her. If I did, I would have liked her ages ago!"
