Mu Huanlou: A movie emperor who rose to fame at a young age. He seems laid-back and composed, but deep down, he is passionate and devoted to life and acting.
Mu Huanlou has been famous for years and won countless awards. The only one that has eluded him is the niche but highly prestigious Summit Award.
He himself isn't fixated on it, believing things should take their natural course.
Unexpectedly, a collaboration, a journey, and a project with Xing Xingyun would eventually lead him to that awards stage.
On the day of the awards ceremony, beneath the stage.
Xing Xingyun greeted him calmly: "Long time no see, Mr. Mu."
Mu Huanlou replied, "Long time no see, Mr. Xing."
They were perfectly polite and distant.
The director beside them couldn't take it anymore. "Why are you still calling each other Mr.? Did you shoot all those months for nothing? You sound like you barely know each other."
