Content warnings:
1. The male lead is not a virgin, while the female lead is. He has a queen and concubines. The setting is inspired by the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, but most details are the author's inventions, so this is an alternate history.
2. The romance has a bad ending. The King of Wei only loves the female lead's outward show of gentleness and obedience. She briefly develops feelings for him, but quickly pulls away and makes revenge her sole goal.
3. The female lead will accomplish her goal, but due to the constraints of the era, she will not become emperor.
