A demon from who knows where slips him a love letter, and Huo An gets so angry he pins him to the wall and kisses him until he can barely breathe.

What kind of partner is this? He acts like he has more say over Zhu Qing's life than his own father!

Still, Zhu Qing has to put on a smiling face and coax this "sugar daddy" of his, hoping the stepping-stone on his path to godhood will get with the program and fulfill his duty as a romantic tool sooner rather than later.

"How about we live together?"

"Fine." Huo An looks down at him. "But you have to pay rent on time."

So his rent is sleeping with Huo An every night? He's a respectable plant, for goodness' sake!

On a night thick with desire, Huo An bends over him and leaves one mark after another on his thigh with his sharp canine teeth, making Zhu Qing itch all over.

Breathing hard, he finally manages to ask, "Didn't you say we'd only sleep together?"

Huo An chuckles, but his movements grow even more forceful.

"Aren't I sleeping with you right now?"

Ever since his birth, Huo An has been affected by the chaotic energy of heaven and earth. When he loses control, he can split buildings several kilometers away in half. His fierce expression always makes him look like he's about to kill someone, and even children passing by are frightened into tears.

His coworkers gossip about him every day, saying he'll surely be a virgin all his life, and that even the Matchmaker wouldn't dare tie a red thread to him.

Abandoned in the human world for centuries, Huo An has never believed in fate. He believes only that one day he will break through all these ridiculous shackles and seize his god for himself.

Then, when he loses control once again, Zhu Qing holds him close. The soft, ethereal fragrance soothes his fraying nerves, and he realizes that his god has been by his side all along.
