Code name 15140, alias Yin Silin. When it first came off the production line, the main System gave it three mission directives:
1. Follow your character settings.
2. Your mission is to save the world.
3. You are destined to be the protagonist's nemesis.
At first, everything went smoothly. He played a ruthless villain, standing against the righteous and noble protagonist.
Whenever they met, they crossed swords. The protagonist suspected him, hated him, loathed him, and wanted to kill him.
Yin Silin had no awareness of emotions. He enjoyed every time he and the protagonist stood on opposite sides.
He enjoyed every exhilarating duel.
And so, after countless battles, the story finally reached its conclusion.
On the day the villain's faction was defeated, he stood atop the city gate and watched the whole city engulfed in flames and smoke.
At last, it's over, he thought.
“I've waited a long time for this day.”
The protagonist's voice came from behind him. Before him, waves of heat rolled through the air.
Yin Silin turned and looked into the protagonist's bright, resolute eyes without speaking. In his heart, he replied, Me too.
All their entanglements were over. He had completed his mission, and it was time to go back.
He closed his eyes and fell backward.
“What are you doing, Yin Silin?!”
He heard the protagonist's panicked, horrified voice and the sound of footsteps rushing toward him.
As he fell, the wind roared past. Flames had already wrapped around him.
He wanted one last look at the protagonist.
He opened his eyes and saw the protagonist's tense, horrified face, the hand reaching out toward him, and the figure leaping after him without hesitation.
.
After Yin Silin died, no one could ever escape that smoke-filled day again.
That cold, emotionless, powerful figure.
He hated his rigid ways, hated his loyalty, hated his utterly unhesitating departure.
