What if you woke up one day in a seven-year-old body?
Ieiri Shoko thought it was great. No work, no patients, no late-night overtime. Going to school with a bunch of kids was a little troublesome, but she could manage.
That is, until one day, a familiar white-haired old man and a small-eyed recruiter who looked far too world-weary blocked her way home.
“Long time no see, Shoko.”
“How’d you get so small? Feels like I could kill you with one hand.”
Oh, right. It seemed they were her old classmates.
Ieiri Shoko gazed up at the blue sky and sighed. Was her comfortable, easygoing life about to end?
No way.
As the two men stared in shock, Ieiri Shoko pulled the child safety alarm and said, “Bye! Explain yourselves to the police!”
“I think you’re both adults now. You don’t need Principal Yaga to bail you out anymore.”
