After Time

A national treasure mysteriously vanishes. An archaeology professor is attacked and left critically wounded, the archaeological team members disappear, and those connected to the case die one after another. A sealed letter from many years ago leaves behind a question: What comes after time? When nothing is within our control, when cause and effect are reversed, when the line between black and white grows blurred, when every choice is wrong, how should we face the feelings that once gave us strength, then brought us to ruin? One day, much later, I was sitting in my wheelchair at a busy intersection, waiting for the light to change, when I suddenly remembered the words I had once spoken. In an instant, the world fell silent. By then, separation and death had become inevitable, and I could neither remember nor dare to. I did not ask myself whether I regretted making such a resolute choice. I only thought of those images, frozen forever, and felt that the courage in a person's life could be so powerful, yet so fragile. The choice we make between strength and fragility defines the meaning of life, and the immortality of death.
