Fake step-siblings / Comedy
After a high-profile family inheritance battle went viral online, Qiao Yanyu, who was all the way in England, called her father.
"Dad, do you have an illegitimate child?"
Mr. Qiao flatly denied it.
Qiao Yanyu was still uneasy. "Then I'll fly back now and watch you write your will."
Mr. Qiao fell silent.
After three months of hiring a private detective to investigate, Qiao Yanyu narrowed her suspicions down to the president of Kunyu Group.
Lu Xun was young and already in a position of power. His father was unknown, his mother was beautiful, and he had somehow talked the Qiao Group into investing hundreds of millions.
She could live without her father's love, but the inheritance had to be hers.
Qiao Yanyu made a decision...

Lu Xun had a private gathering that evening. His Bentley had just pulled out of the parking lot when a "bang" came from the rear of the car.
A girl lay on the ground, with a scrape on her elbow, messy hair, and red-rimmed eyes... The scene looked like she'd been in a serious car accident.
With tears in her eyes, she asked, "Could I get in the car and cry for a little while?"
As a highly considerate driver, Lu Xun thought it was absurd, but agreed anyway.
Inside the car, he learned more. The girl was a local who had just been kicked out of her home by her father. She had no money and nowhere to stay.
In the end, Qiao Yanyu seized the opportunity to make a request. "Could you put me up for a few days? In return, I can do your laundry, cook, and take care of the housework..."
Lu Xun had been about to pull up the surveillance footage of her faking an accident and take her to the police station, but looking at her pale, soft, pitiful face...
He changed his mind, as if under a spell.
[Bonus Scene]
A light rain fell outside. The temperature inside the car had risen the moment their lips met.
In the cramped space, Lu Xun pulled her limp body into his arms and kissed her again and again. "Call me big brother."
Qiao Yanyu wrapped her arms around his neck. "Not in the car. Let's go home."
A wicked glint gathered at the corners of Lu Xun's eyes. "Don't you love crying in a Bentley?"
