Zhou Xianrong is a middle school student on the verge of turning into a delinquent. Just as he sees his "wonderful" life finally beginning, a System forcibly binds itself to him and sends him to the future to care for and protect an eight-year-old child.
Whether the System is completely nuts or the world is, who knows? Either way, it has a delinquent looking after an eight-year-old girl.
From then on, Zhou Xianrong's life becomes a living hell:
One day, after finally getting everything done, he discovers that the little girl, who is still sick, has been sneaking spicy snacks. Zhou Xianrong: "What the hell?"
"The Host has used profanity, which is detrimental to a child's mental and physical health. Administering electric shock punishment."
Spending the entire National Day holiday gaming through the night:
"The Host has been exposed to electronic devices and has interacted too little with the child. Administering forced exercise punishment."
Coming in last on the midterm exams:
"The Host's grades are severely inadequate, and he has failed to set a good example. Administering textbook transcription punishment."
And so, under the System's tyranny, Zhou Xianrong transforms from a delinquent into a model student. He can do it all: care for a child, exercise, and study. At last, he becomes a qualified... big brother?
It isn't until Zhou Xianrong sees those two people, the two people he never wants to see again, that he learns how it all began...
P.S. This is a story about familial love, not romance. The little one is already eight, so she's not particularly young. Also, this may become a series, so the worldbuilding is quite important.
Theme: Self-redemption is the only true redemption.
So when it comes to beating up your brother, you have to do it as early as possible
