A cool guy who works nights as a horror-themed murder-mystery game host, and a wealthy young woman who's addicted to gaming and streams games
Lin Muyang, a rich young lady, wants to become a gaming streamer, but her family disapproves. Acting on impulse, she runs away from home. Sure enough, on her very first day out, her family freezes her bank card.
With no money, she has no choice but to rent a room with a stranger and scrape by on the income from her gaming streams.
For over a month, her housemate has never shown his face. She doesn't even know if the person is a man or a woman.
But since she's a woman, surely the landlord would have found her a female housemate!
Then one evening, she comes home several hours early and finds a man sitting on the sofa. He's tall, with a blue-green face, fangs, and bloodstains all over his tattered clothes. A chill radiates from him.
Lin Muyang lets out a tiny scream of terror. "Is this place haunted?!"
Their routines are complete opposites, but one unusual day, they meet in the living room at 7:50.
The "ghost" speaks. "Sorry, I'm Gu Yi."

During the crime-scene investigation, everything around them is pitch-black, and faint footsteps echo down the corridor.
Though Lin Muyang isn't easily scared, the staged horror atmosphere gets to her, and she squeezes her eyes shut.
A warm, dry hand encloses her cold one, and the man chuckles softly.
"Caught you."
They were housemates, but had never met.
Both are sexually inexperienced, with no exes. The heroine runs a gaming-streaming studio outside the home, so she's away during the day.
