Lin Ling looked at the person taking up the entire double bed and smiled helplessly.
If school weren't about to start and the inn weren't packed with no spare rooms, he really wouldn't want to share a bed with the person in front of him, who was missing a certain part.
Whenever Mo Xi used to stay over at his place, Lin Ling would always kick him out of bed in the middle of the night. His awful sleeping habits were bad enough, but what made Lin Ling even more nervous was that Mo Xi liked to sleep naked. That made things miserable for Lin Ling. With a completely naked body sleeping beside him, he'd have to be a ghost to get any sleep.
So every time they shared a bed, Lin Ling would wake up the next morning with two black eyes.
Mo Xi, meanwhile, would laugh himself silly at his raccoon eyes.
And Lin Ling would be weeping rivers of tears inside...
The sound of running water came from the bathroom. Mo Xi had a slight cleanliness obsession, and spending a day and a night on a train was already his limit.
Through the bathroom's glass door, Lin Ling could just make out the figure inside. The corners of his mouth lifted unconsciously.
Thinking about how they could still be together from now on, eating together, playing ball together, going shopping together, doing anything they wanted together, made Lin Ling feel so happy.
As long as he could quietly stay by Mo Xi's side forever, protect him, and be his best friend, that was enough for him.
