Main Plot 1: Because humanity forgot about it, the Classic of Mountains and Seas was damaged, and its contents disappeared. Lingyin, a disciple of Shen Qingzhi, a scholar in the Immortal Realm’s Library of Cultivation, and Fengxi, a disciple of Xie Yanchuan, the Martial God of the Central Realm, head to the human world to repair the Classic of Mountains and Seas. As they restore the text, they experience the everyday life of the mortal world and discover the love and affection found within it.
Main Plot 2: While repairing the book, they discover someone behind the scenes has been changing the course of events. Many monsters and ghosts have been affected by this person. Lingyin and the others do not know who he is or what he wants, but he must be a formidable opponent. In fact, he is the Fifth Realm.
Side Stories: A series of short stories involving monsters, each with a new protagonist. They touch on love, friendship, and family bonds, though some involve none of these.
P.S. I started writing this book because I wanted to introduce the Classic of Mountains and Seas to more people in a way that modern readers would find more accessible.
The story is set during the Northern Song dynasty, but only its customs and culture are depicted. The supernatural events and monsters are fictional and do not represent actual history.
Ways to restore the book: Monsters can be sealed directly inside it, or they can form a contract with the book.
Theme: The Classic of Mountains and Seas, restoring a book, and the emotions of humans, monsters, gods, and ghosts: they cannot all be lumped together.
