Chuunibyou office worker Lin Yun accidentally clicks on an ad and is transported straight into a game's closed beta.
A full-dive game? Role-playing? With base-building and simulation-management minigames, too?
#That's quite the perk package
Global upheaval shatters the peace of Planet D128 when anomalies invade. Only then do people realize the shadows have long been seeping into all kinds of bizarre news stories.
Just as people despair over the endless anomalous incidents, a towering spire suddenly appears from nowhere.
A playful, adorable cat-eared merchant, a considerate and meticulous healer, a mysterious and dignified witch headmistress...
Every member is beautiful enough to seem as if they have stepped through the screen from another dimension. More importantly, they bring abilities found only in fantasy stories, including magic, potions, and cyber technology.
The residents of D128 are delighted to discover that ever since the tower appeared, they can not only watch the spectacular battles of ability users every day, but also learn to draw spells and brew potions themselves!
Flying brooms, spatial teleportation, and full-dive games are no longer just fantasies. The age of spiritual qi revival has begun!
As they gradually learn more about the tower's members, the residents of D128 realize that beyond their planet, there is a group of people who have fought anomalies for millennia to protect peace, sharing the fruits of different civilizations' wisdom throughout the universe.
But the long years have brought not only countless sacrifices, but also companions drifting apart, and even betrayal...
