Everyone knows that confessing your feelings is one of the classic scenes in a high school romance. Being confessed to is, too.
Isn't it even more exciting when a popular student confesses to you? What if several popular students do?
So, who is the real winner in this farce?
Recently, I found a love letter from a certain volleyball player in my shoe locker. Apparently, he was a star player on the volleyball team, with plenty of admirers and fans. So this was like winning the lottery, only to find out you couldn't claim the prize.
I was embarrassed, surprised, and completely at a loss.
When confronted with irrefutable evidence, the volleyball player swore he hadn't written it. He vowed to catch whoever was playing this prank, suspected his twin brother, and the two of them put on quite a fight scene.
Before long, a love letter from that player's twin brother appeared in the exact same spot.
I was silent, resigned, and had my sights set on a suspect.
The other volleyball player also accepted it in silence, likewise convinced he had found the culprit. He proceeded to beat up his own twin brother, putting on another fight scene.
Is the first rule of Inarizaki's twin code really to suspect each other? That kind of bond is a bit too much for me.
Jokes aside, did either of you notice that Senior Kita was standing there with a cold look on his face?
After some time, the reason behind these incidents still hadn't been uncovered, and the real culprit remained at large. As a result, things between me and my childhood friend grew increasingly awkward.
I marveled, cried out, and could do nothing about it.
Could the Volleyball God have answered my prayers? Maybe my shoe locker is connected to a mysterious dimension. That would explain these ridiculous events.
So the Volleyball God chose me? Interesting.
Then why hasn't there been a letter from my childhood friend? Things are already such a mess, so why not go all the way? It wouldn't be any more embarrassing.
In the end, I got my wish. With the twins' help (or interference), I finally received a confession letter from my childhood friend. What a happy ending.
A few things to know before reading:
My take on Haikyuu!!, with an OOC warning.
The main story is told in first person. The heroine transfers schools during her second year of high school.
Updates daily or every other day. I like posting late at night, but I'll try to post earlier~
Theme: Live wholeheartedly, and never betray what you love.
Suna, who speaks straightforwardly, also feels right: "It doesn't matter whether it's quiet or noisy." Because you don't care so much about the outside world's opinions and instead follow your heart. I thought of a very funny thing. In an episode of the volleyball club's spin-off comic, Grandma Bei was deceived by someone claiming to be Bei (actually she was Nan). She asked the other party what color her underwear was. Suna: "What color underwear will Kita-senpai wear..." Suna: (turning head) "Kita-senpai, what kind of underwear are you wearing now?" North: Huh? Gindao: Oh, it's so scary Big Er: Why are you suddenly asking, suna? Suna: "No, I just suddenly cared a little bit" It's full of flaws, suna, what are you thinking about?
"Is this the only topic left between us?" Kakuname: Ai-chan is paying too much attention to the twins... A kind of Tibetan fox is sulking.
