Drunk Tonight [Foster Care, Coercive Love]

[Foster-care trope / Coercive pursuit / Forbidden, fraught relationship]

Cool and stubborn × genteel scoundrel / Older man, five years older

Her cousin has returned from overseas with a girlfriend: Wen Xi.

At a family banquet at the Song residence, Song Liangye lights a cigarette and smiles. He sent her abroad two years ago, not so she could bring back a boyfriend.

After the banquet breaks up, his cousin is too drunk to leave. Wen Xi stays with him in the private room, waiting for someone to come pick him up. Song Liangye is there with the two of them.

Song Liangye is a young master. After his father stepped back, he took over the Song family, and everyone has to watch his mood.

Song Liangye taps the ash from his cigarette and asks her, without the slightest concern for the other person in the room, who is dead drunk: "Does he know what you and I are to each other?"

Wen Xi tightens her grip on her bag strap. "You used to call me big brother. From now on, you'll call me that along with him."

"Big brother?" Song Liangye laughs and stubs out his cigarette.

[He says to enjoy the wine while it's here. He also says she's his wine.]
