The Holy Grail War of Ochemia

Since Honkai: Star Rail is doing a crossover with FSN, it’d be hard to wrap this up without playing around with this setup (Doge)

Masters: modern timeline. Servants: timeline before Re-Creation 3.3

By the way, the main story has no couples, but the extras might have pairings.

Saber: Bai’e. You can think of him as Bai’e in his second phase. His eye color and hairstyle are both so different that nobody recognized him at first.

Berserker: Mydeimos. (In a sense, he really is berserk.) Since he hasn’t completely died in the past, his true form is still affected by the Black Tide. He’s lucid one moment and not the next, but he can clearly sense his Master’s commands, so he won’t lose control.

Assassin: Cipher. (How does a demigod of trickery not count as an assassin?) She doesn’t care much about the Grail, aside from liking that it’s made of gold. She’s more interested in modern life.

Caster: Anaxa. (Magic tricks!) Alchemy sure is useful, isn’t it?

Archer: Xilian. (It makes perfect sense that an Elysia counterpart would use a bow.) She seems to be someone who knows the script. Every time she appears, the situation changes.

Lancer: Dan Heng. (There isn’t a single Chrysos Heir in Amphoreus who uses a spear.) This one has already successfully incarnated, though. Did the Grail detect a spare in the region?

Rider: Castorice. (Pollux even gave Jimi a ride, so how does that not count as a riding Noble Phantasm?)

Masters

Bai’e: (A pure-hearted college student, or maybe a high schooler? He never imagined the Servant he summoned might be his own ancestor.) The catalyst is himself.

Aglaea: (Teacher. I just want to see Aglaea and Anaxa bicker.) Their compatibility is obviously terrible, yet somehow she summoned him. They can’t stand each other, but they work together surprisingly well.

Trailblazer: (Dan Heng came along when they summoned him.) A foreign mage who unexpectedly arrives in Okhema, never expecting to take part in this Holy Grail War alongside their Servant.

Feng Jin: (Of course the Church is taking part, and of course she summoned an Assassin, as is family tradition.) It seems Miss Cipher knows the Church very well, even though she doesn’t seem like the sort who’d become a nun.

Tibao, Tining, and Tian: (A little Grail made of three sisters? Castorice will have to protect her teacher.) Artificial humans and little Grails.

Caster: Flame Reaver. (We need an evil Master, after all. You’re up, little Hei!) He somehow ends up in a strange timeline, and after the Grail gives him the relevant information, he goes to summon a Servant. He never expected it to be Xilian.

Wandance: (Another student like Bai’e, but one year above him?) Yet another person who summoned himself. His ancestor seems to be in pretty bad shape, though, lucid one moment and not the next. The fact that they look almost exactly alike makes Wandance suspect Saber’s identity.

By the way, everyone else in the modern timeline knows about the Holy Grail War. The Masters are mostly acquaintances, so they’ll go easy on one another (though Flame Reaver certainly won’t). They know where to draw the line, but little Hei is still far too aggressive.

The Grail is a normal Grail (probably).

Since this is an FSN crossover, Saber’s summoning obviously can’t be complete. Bai’e is pretending to have amnesia to amuse himself. Berserker Mydeimos is being eroded by the Black Tide and is irrational. And every Caster has to cause trouble, so of course Anaxa won’t stay quiet either. Will the Trailblazer order Dan Heng to kill himself (after all, his class is Lancer)? Why did the Church send Feng Jin to compete in violation of the rules (the Church usually serves as a neutral judging party and doesn’t compete)? And will Xilian, who seems to know the script, enjoy watching the show (that’s right, Xilian’s Master is little Hei)? Will Cipher survive to the end, or die at the door... Find out next time.

Maybe they’ll break the Grail again (laughs).
