On the first day of Shu Bai’s return to the entertainment industry, he saw a Weibo post claiming that popular young star Meng Gaochi had a crush on him. He read the whole thing carefully, then considered Meng Gaochi’s actions afterward and decided that maybe he really did like him.
Meng Gaochi thought his mentor Shu Bai had been acting strangely lately, as if he were trying to get closer to him. At a loss, he opened Weibo and happened to see a trending topic claiming his mentor liked him. He carefully thought back over Shu Bai’s past behavior and decided that maybe he really did like him.
A sleazy marketing account made up a rumor for clicks, claiming that an award-winning actor liked a popular young star. The blogger fabricated a whole story and didn’t believe it himself. Three months later, he watched the two announce their relationship and fell into a long silence. Huh, my fake rumor came true?
