The Eternal Emperor Gets Publicly Humiliated, Watched by the Whole World

[Help! I was just roasting a rabbit when the sky screen suddenly declared me an emperor for the ages!] In his previous life, Zhao Gengxu was a sickly child who died at seventeen. Reborn as a little prince of the Song Dynasty, he lets loose completely! He climbs trees, skips school, and fights crickets, testing the emperor's patience every single day! His life goal: eat, drink, and be merry, and live happily as a couch potato. Who could have guessed that on the day he turned nine, just as the emperor was grabbing him and spanking him, the sky suddenly went dark! A live broadcast from the future appeared out of nowhere on the sky screen: "Amazing! The Song Dynasty's greatest emperor, Xianzong, was a mischievous brat who got spanked all the time as a child?" The animation shows the embarrassing history of him being chased and beaten, while the comments are full of "Hahaha." Then comes the bombshell: his older brothers will meet with one disaster after another, and the throne will eventually fall into his lap?! Even more terrifying, the sky screen says that after he ascends the throne, he won't just save the dynasty from ruin, but will expand its territory and awe the four seas, becoming an emperor the likes of whom have never been seen before! His royal father freezes midair with his palm raised, red from spanking him: "..." The crown prince looks conflicted: "..." Zhao Gengxu clutches his sore bottom and stares at his own domineering image on the sky screen. He bursts into tears. "I thought I was going to be a couch potato for life! Is it too late to run away now?!" Heads-up: 1. This isn't pure wish fulfillment, and there will be angst! The sky screen is only part of the story. The main plot focuses on the protagonist's growth. 2. This is an alternate history! The protagonist's dynasty lasts over 700 years. Read at your own discretion if that bothers you! 3. The official system includes both a chancellor and a cabinet. The civil service examination system has yet to be established at the start. 4. Don't judge it by real history. This is an alternate-history setting. If you don't like it, feel free to drop it. Important!! The policies, institutions, and posthumous temple names in the novel don't develop in the same order as in real history, and aren't based on real historical settings. Think of it as history from another timeline. Please read with caution if this bothers you! Theme: Secure the people's livelihood and carry on the teachings of the sages
