The Cool and Distant Senior Sister Was Supposed to Be a Woman, So Why Is She a Man?

[Cool, aloof fake senior sister who's actually a crazy, possessive true senior brother x sweet, naive, delicate, straightforward transmigrated-into-a-book junior sister]

Wu Miaomiao transmigrated into a cultivation novel and, after thinking it over, decided to seek out the heroine.

When she found the heroine, Helou Shi was under attack by spirit beasts.

In the original novel, this "cool, ethereal fairy" was a powerful orphan of the Dragon-Snake clan, and she was beautiful, too. Her gender was only confirmed near the end.

But Wu Miaomiao had only read half the book before transmigrating, and all she could think about now was: This girl is so beautiful and powerful. Sticking close to her is a sure bet!

So she went into suck-up mode:

"Senior Sister, you're so cold! I have a fire spirit root. I can keep your bed warm!"

"Senior Sister, how do you cultivate your spiritual sense? Help me out."

"It's not safe for you to go out alone. How about we share a room? I promise I won't touch you... much. I'll just hold your hand!"

Until one night, an extraordinary sign of Core Formation tore through the clouds.

Miaomiao sleepily opened her eyes and saw her usually cool senior sister kneeling by the bed, dragon horns glowing faintly in her hair. Her Adam's apple bobbed as she leaned down to kiss the corner of Miaomiao's lips. "Miaomiao, the truth is... I'm a male dragon."

"Miaomiao, our spiritual senses have merged. We're already married."

"Miaomiao, you're the one who came on to me first."

"Miaomiao, I've formed my core. I can mark my mate now."

Miaomiao stared at the dragon tail closing in and finally remembered the note in the original novel she'd ignored:

[The Dragon-Snake clan has no gender at birth. They only choose one when they form their core or meet the person they love.]

"Wait, Senior Sister! I, I only wanted to stick close to you..."

"Now you want to run?" Helou Shi bit her earlobe and laughed softly. "Too late. You can only be mine."

P.S. The male lead's surname is Helou and his given name is Shi.

Theme: When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
