[Everyone is an animal / A puppy forced to start a business after failing the civil service exam / Player-oriented]
Yu Xian was so furious when she learned that improving Tian Ce had failed that she promptly fainted on the spot.
When she opened her eyes again, she discovered that she'd become a fluffy, short-legged puppy!?
That's right. Other people transmigrate and become overpowered heroes, while Yu Xian transmigrated and lost her human status entirely.
A few huskies (crossed out) handsome wolves passed by the entrance to Tian Ce Manor. The lead wolf howled, “Awooo! The results are posted!”
Yu Xian bounced along with a group of little dogs to check the results posted at the gate.
Well, would you look at that. She, Yu Xian, in dog form, had failed both the written and interview portions of the civil service exam. She'd come in dead last!
“We don't hire dogs who failed the exam. Other positions require at least three years of work experience...”
Yu Xian let out a heartbroken bark. “Fate has betrayed this failed dog! I'll start my own business!”
On the first day, she sat outside Shaolin Temple selling hair-growth tonic and combs, shouting, “Master! If your hair falls out now, it can grow back! Once you're old and it's gone, it's gone for good!”
Then a group of sweeping monkeys pressed their palms together and “invited” her out. “Amitabha. Benefactor, perhaps you should try the Valley of Ten Thousand Flowers.”
On the second day, she dashed into the Valley of Ten Thousand Flowers to set up a stall selling The Art of Medicine Made Easy: From Beginner to Buried and Learn Acupuncture in Three Days. A group of squirrels pelted her with chestnuts. “So you're Yu Xian? You're the one selling shortcuts? Take this, acupuncture!”
On the third day, she sneaked into Chunyang Palace and stared at the plump, fluffy lambs. A traitorous drool dripped from her mouth. “Roast whole lamb, lamb hot pot, lamb skewers...” Before she could finish, a group of little sheep worked together to kick her out the door with their butts.
Yu Xian lay on the ground, barking and crying. “They're targeting me! They're all targeting me! Wait, tomorrow I'll go sell catnip to the Mingjiao. They won't beat me up, will they?”
