[JX3] Who Told You to Step on the Flower Doctor?

There are two kinds of people Yuchi Lie hates most: those who trip him up, and those who are even better than him at putting on airs.

As luck would have it, Pei Yuanhui is both.

After Chang'an is reclaimed, Yuchi Lie is focused on returning to the front lines to retake Luoyang. But this civil official from the Changge Sect brings shame upon his own school. He does no good, and only helps corrupt officials persecute the generals. With a single document, he pins Yuchi Lie down in Chang'an.

In a fit of anger, Yuchi Lie does something stupid: he gallops his horse down the street and charges an official of the imperial court.

He only meant to scare Pei Yuanhui. But his beloved Leishou Feidian loses control and charges into the Wandering Healer disciple beside Pei Yuanhui.

Then the Wandering Healer disciple knocks him flat with a single Taiyin Finger strike, leaving him utterly humiliated.

And that's how their feud begins.

I don't think people in the Tang Dynasty called doctors "doctors" yet, but it rolls off the tongue, so let's go with it.

Main pairing: Flower and Strategy

Hua Xianqing × Yuchi Lie (Yuchi Chengfang)

A Flower healer who loves switching to healer mode and acting weak × a brainless, feral-dog-like, villainous Strategy

There's also a divorced couple who still can't let go of each other, Qin and Strategy

Pei Yuanhui (Pei Lingming) × Li Ji (Li Fengguang)

A cold, undercover official of the Qin school × a steady, big-dog Strategy

The timeline runs from the restoration of Chang'an, through Li Chu's poisoning and Li Tan taking over, to Li Chu's ascension to the throne, so the Li brothers will appear.
