The Marshal's Little Dragon

Blurb:

After hatching, the little dragon had no parents or other dragons by its side.

It had no sharp teeth or claws, and even its scales were thin. It had no way to protect itself, let alone hunt.

In the eyes of the beasts, it was a tender, delicious little snack.

Luckily, the little dragon met a very handsome and incredibly powerful human in the forest.

The human could always catch plenty of prey, and would leave whatever food he couldn't finish at the entrance to his cave.

Thanks to that food, the little dragon was lucky enough to survive.

To repay the human's kindness, the little dragon often sneaked over while he was asleep and used its healing powers to treat his injuries.

It thought life would go on like this forever. Then one day, it staggered into the cave covered in wounds, and the human grabbed it before it could even get close.

Meeting the human's terrifying gaze, the startled little dragon opened its brilliant golden eyes, brighter than the sun, and tears began to fall.

Waaah, you can't eat me! I'll give you a stomachache!

In the final battle against the Insect Queen, Imperial Marshal Gu Lingxiao detonated his crystal core and took his enemy down with him.

When he opened his eyes again, he had landed on a primitive planet with no human civilization. The explosion had destroyed his communications equipment beyond repair.

While waiting for rescue, he unexpectedly came across a little dragon.

The little one's arrival brought color to his otherwise stagnant life, and it even helped heal his injuries. Gu Lingheng resolved to take it with him when he left.

He had planned to take things slowly, but that idea vanished completely when he saw the little dragon covered in wounds.

It was going to be his dragon sooner or later anyway. Rather than leave it roaming freely and exposed to unknown dangers, he might as well keep it by his side.
