[The Legend of Luo Xiaohei] Lotus Seed Milk, Half-Sweet, Less Ice

About the Boss*

“My surname is Lian. I’ve been wandering alone for a very long time, and hardly anyone ever asks my name.” Her face was vaguely human, yet not quite, smiling in the dimness, almost melting into the shadows.

“We’re here together, and that is ‘fate.’ You can call me Lian Zhou.”

About Gan Oulei*

Gan Oulei is a third-year graduate student in the Business Management Department at Longyou University. She slacks off in class and sleeps through her days off. While the boss is away, she spends every day playing games on the clock, occasionally greeting visitors to the guildhall. Compared with the chaotic years, life these days is so, so much easier~

That is, until the day she accidentally uncovered a secret while doing her usual job of receiving a visitor who had come to sell information.

Gan Oulei, deadpan: “I’m so dead.”

Gan Oulei, dialing: “I’m so dead, so dead, so dead.”

Gan Oulei, frantically calling: “Oh heavens, something terrible is about to happen! I’m dead! Boss!!!”

“...Haha,” the boss’s voice was as sweet as velvet, while the distant clamor and music in the background wrapped around the receiver like dusk. “Once, the guildhall was wary that we might do something like this. And now I get to hear this news. What ‘fate’...”

·

Gan Oulei: A laid-back, sarcastic working-girl fairy, also a spirit-summoning type and a mind type. Even when Mount Tai collapses in front of her, she stays cool and just makes snarky remarks.

Lianshi (Lian Zhou): The boss, a life-force type, a space type, and a “fate” type. A fairy woman whose very existence is an eyesore. A real eyesore.

! Warning:

Kicking out all the death flags, Lanxi Town, Feng Xi and the Liushi Guildhall;

The Lanxi Town cast appears, and Naga gets taken out early;

Linyao loses her status as the big bad, and Lianshi takes over;

Not really an otome story or a romance-focused story. More like, “Let the bullets fly” (...)

CPs: Gan Oulei x Feng Xi, Lianshi x Wuxian

Theme: A simple, hassle-free way to become a big boss through “fate”
