Like every other high school senior, Ji Su'an set herself a new-semester goal: make the top fifty in her grade.
But after senior year began, she studied herself to death, yet her mock-exam ranking somehow fell instead of rising, dropping her out of the top hundred.
When the results came out, Ji Su'an locked herself in her room and cried all night. When she woke up, she found herself bound to something claiming to be a Top Student System.

The two friends broke off their friendship then and there.
Then the next day, they both traveled back ten years.
In their senior-year classroom, the two men watched their wives and crush studying hard, and fell into deep thought.
