Yi An is a mob boss from New York's Corleone family.
After holding power in his family for more than a decade, he had grown tired of the whole underworld.
But just as he was about to announce his retirement, an unexpected change quietly took place.
One second, his driver was asking, "Your Excellency, Godfather, what do you plan to do next?"
The next, Lewis came over with a pipe in his mouth and said disdainfully, "You're the new farmer, Yi An, right?"
Yi An soon realized that
this Stardew Valley seemed rather different from the game world he knew.
Why had the whole game gone dark?
Why did every NPC he met in town have a corruption level through the roof?
Robin: "Your house is way too shabby. Nobody can live in it. It's been in disrepair for ages. Give me a few hundred thousand and I'll do a quick fix. What? Too expensive? Don't be ridiculous. I'm the only carpenter in all of Pelican Town."
Pierre's letter: "Hey, new farmer. If you don't buy your seeds from me this spring, I'll get really angry and do something I'll regret myself. Trust me, you don't want to find out what that feels like."
Lewis: "Bring this month's truffle oil to my house right now! Or else... You won't be able to handle the consequences. Hurry up!"
As Yi An faced one threatening letter after another in his mailbox and the villagers' ugly faces,
a knowing smile appeared on his face.
"What? These are tricks I stopped using more than a decade ago..."
Muttering to himself, Yi An cracked his knuckles.
I was planning to have a nice, simple retirement,
but if I don't reset the villagers' corruption levels, won't my retirement plans go up in smoke?
Well then, it's time to give Pelican Town a taste of some professional gangland intimidation.
