Luo Hu is all set to draw a weapon for the game's sixteenth anniversary, but an explosion on his way home from working overtime leaves him trapped under rubble for seventeen hours. By some fluke, he ends up in a horror game.

In the first instance, everyone else has useful special abilities, while his is spending money. How's he supposed to spend when he doesn't have a single cent?!

And because the game's starting stats match his real body, he's the easiest person to bully. A cannon-fodder character picks on him.

The System is way too unfair! Luo Hu feels wronged.

Then the cannon fodder gets shot dead by a ridiculously handsome man with golden eyes?

And the golden-eyed man walks over, in front of everyone's astonished stares, and wipes the blood splattered on Luo Hu's shoe?

Huh??? WTF? Luo Hu is left gaping in shock.

The man makes him hot milk and pancakes.

Clutching his mug of hot milk and trembling, Luo Hu asks, "Bro, what do you want?"

Then the man shows him the eight hundred outfits Luo Hu bought for him.

"I'm your game character. Don't you recognize me?"

Luo Hu falls silent.
