A story about two love-struck fools who keep missing their chances, until they finally end up together.

Nine years ago, Pei Jingzhi wrote Jiang Yan a love letter.
The envelope was pink, with a rose he'd drawn by hand on the front. But he never got an answer.
Nine years later, they ran into each other on the streets of Shanghai.
Pei Jingzhi had imagined countless times that if he ever saw Jiang Yan again, he'd walk right past without so much as a glance, to get even for that heartless rejection all those years ago.
But from the moment he saw Jiang Yan, he couldn't take his eyes off him.
When a classmate said Jiang Yan had secretly loved him for nine years, Pei Jingzhi thought he was a love fraud, the sort who'd even deceive his own best friend.
Only later did he realize they were both idiots.

Someone once told Pei Jingzhi that the bonds between people were fragile. If even one of two people let their guard down for a moment, the bond between them could snap for good, and they'd never meet again in this life.
Then, later on, they met again on the streets of Shanghai.
"I want to see the sunset at the Xiepu Road ferry crossing again."

Later, the two of them strolled beneath the Brooklyn Bridge and saw the most beautiful sunset in all of New York.
“Pei Jingzhi, when the sun sets over Manhattan, we'll walk only the road to happiness.”
