Lu Yi is an Alpha living in a slum district. While delivering takeout to a research institute, she finds a dying Omega beneath a streetlight, a sex that is pampered with gold and jade by the upper classes and would never appear in a slum.
The Omega she takes in is covered in wounds and exceptionally frail. To nurse him back to health, Lu Yi spends all her savings and works from dawn till late at night to earn money. The gentle, obedient Omega cooks for her every day, waits for her to come home, and keeps their home spotless.
It isn't until one day, when the military detains Lu Yi, that she learns the considerate Omega at home is a valuable test subject from the research institute.
Back at the institute, the Omega refuses to cooperate with the experiments, badly injures the guards, and tries to escape. When Lu Yi sees him again, he is in even worse shape than when they first met.
Lu Yi thinks the Omega must hate her for sending him back to the institute, but he only tugs lightly at her clothes, gazes up at her like a pitiful little dog, and says weakly,
"Please, don't abandon me again."
*
After carefully plotting to blow up the research institute, Po is rescued by a human.
To recover from his injuries, he acts obedient and humors her.
His feigned forgiveness for her betrayal is only a way to use her and find a chance to escape.
At least, that's what he has always believed.
Until one day, he sees Lu Yi standing with a man.
"Lu Yi and Major Shao are such a perfect match. They were the celebrated couple at Imperial Academy, too."
"After all these years, the major still can't forget Lu Yi. Looks like they might get back together."
Po thinks viciously that a broken mirror ought to be smashed to pieces.
Reading guide:
1. Female Alpha, male Omega. The heroine doesn't have a major power-up.
2. World setting: cyberpunk + contamination zones + supernatural abilities.
3. The entire novel is already written, so feel free to read with confidence.
Theme: Saving each other and growing together
[][] The ending of "Spreading Flowers" Generally speaking, the emotional line is a bit confusing, like something is missing? I think the daily life of the male and female protagonists in the early stage can be enriched a little more. Maybe it is because the plot is relatively compact, so the emotional line is pushed faster, and the readers do not have a sense of involvement? [Orange Candy] I got it, but my career line is perfect. I like the Queen the most, hahaha. Her merits and demerits are like the Emperor Wu, and she is a woman! 😣 It's completely high-flying. I didn't read cyberpunk themes before, but the author also wrote this step by step, which is good. The ending of being infected and alienated reminds me of Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The effect is better than San. The inside and outside of the wall are also very good. I imagined it was a combination of Hayao Miyazaki's animals and plants and Attack on Titan. There are also mirror spheres, anti-gravity, forward and reverse, these ideas are all great. 2067 Feels like a homage to Cyberpunk 2077, and it's great to read the book with that theme song! The third and fourth dimensions are also described in a way that readers can accept! Great! This is my favorite book recently!! Finally, I wish the author unlimited progress!
Can the extra story resurrect Gu Chengze and Xia?
