After struggling with every other option, she chose the safest path: becoming a corporate drone, working herself to the bone for capitalists.
But her heartless creditors had no intention of letting her family off the hook.
The loom of fate began to turn the day Red Hood crashed through her window and rescued her from her desperate plight.
This urban legend didn't seem nearly as terrifying as the forums claimed.
With nowhere else to turn, Cindery asked, "How much would it cost to hire you?"
He glanced around, then simply picked up the pocket watch on the table. "This will do."
At that moment, Cindery Pierce decided she would support Red Hood forever.
