Kasuga Hiyori is crazy.
Born into an ancient sorcerer clan where status is determined by the strength of one's cursed energy, Kasuga is the only non-sorcerer in her family. Like the Zenin clan's Heavenly Restriction, she is a notorious failure.
She hates sorcerers. She hates the jujutsu world.
At the height of her hatred, she killed her half-brother and slaughtered countless sorcerers who came to her seeking death, becoming an infamous special-grade curse user.
From then on, no one dared call her a "failure" again.
When the Ability Special Affairs Division learned that Kasuga Hiyori, who possessed talent beyond that of an Ability User, wanted to develop her career in Yokohama, they were overjoyed. They overruled all objections and invited her to join them, on the condition that she be registered as Japan's Transcendent.
Kasuga Hiyori agreed.
